I first picked up a pair of skis in 2018, and from that moment I was hooked. What started as a new experience quickly became my biggest passion, and since then I've been fortunate enough to spend nine winter seasons teaching in some incredible resorts across Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand and Australia.
One of the things that makes my approach to teaching a little different is that I learned to ski as an adult. I remember exactly what it feels like to be a beginner, the frustration of learning new techniques and the nerves that come with tackling unfamiliar or challenging terrain. Skiing didn't come naturally to me straight away, and I believe those experiences have made me a more understanding, patient and adaptable instructor.
My goal is simple: to help as many people as possible enjoy the sport I love, regardless of their age, ability or background. Whether you're putting on skis for the very first time, looking to build confidence on steeper slopes or working towards your instructor qualifications, I want to help you overcome challenges and discover what you're capable of.
I particularly enjoy technical coaching and instructor development. I love breaking down complex movements into clear, manageable steps and helping people understand not just what to change in their skiing, but why those changes make a difference. Seeing someone have that moment when everything finally clicks is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
Having taught in different countries and worked with skiers from a wide range of backgrounds, I've learned that there's no single approach that works for everyone. I aim to make every lesson personal, supportive and enjoyable, creating an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and pushing themselves.
Whether we're taking your first turns together or preparing for a Level 3 instructor assessment, my aim is always the same: to help you become a more confident, capable skier and enjoy every moment on the mountain.
