How early should I arrive before my lesson starts?

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your lesson begins, ready to ski. This ensures a prompt departure so you can make the most of your time on the slopes.

Can I book a lesson for the same day?

Yes, same-day bookings are welcome! If we have availability, we’ll do our best to get you out on the slopes as soon as possible.

How long are the lessons?

We offer a variety of lesson durations to suit your needs and schedule:

Full Day – Available from first lift to last lift, giving you maximum flexibility. You’re welcome to start and finish at any time during the day.
5 Hour Lesson – A great option for those wanting a full session with a break or time to explore on their own.
3 Hour Lesson – Referred to as Long Morning or Long Afternoon, perfect for focused learning with time to relax or ski independently.
2 Hour Lesson – Known as Short Morning or Short Afternoon, ideal for a quick skill boost or a relaxed introduction.

Are lift passes and equipment included with my lessons?

No, lift passes and equipment are not included in the price of your lesson. You'll need to arrange both separately before your lesson begins. For equipment rental in Verbier, we highly recommend our trusted partner Mountain Air, located conveniently in town with top-quality gear and expert service.

What lift pass do I need for my lessons?

For lessons based in Verbier, the Verbier Ski Pass is typically sufficient. If you plan to explore beyond Verbier, the 4 Vallées Pass provides access to a broader network of slopes. Additionally, the Les Esserts Only Pass is available for beginners, granting access to the Les Esserts beginner area, including the magic carpet and drag lift. Please note that children under 6 ski for free in Verbier.

For lessons based in Morzine you can choose between a Local Resort Pass, including Morzine-Les Gets Pass and Avoriaz Pass, ideal if you're staying in one area, or the Portes du Soleil Area Pass, which covers all 12 resorts in the region. If you're unsure which pass is right for you, just ask - we’re happy to help you choose the best option for your lesson location and ability level.

To book or confirm my lessons, do I have to pay the full balance?

Yes, full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your lesson. This secures your instructor and guarantees your preferred time and date.

Can I book a private lesson for a group?

Yes! You can book a private lesson for a group of up to 8 people. It’s a great option for families or friends who want to learn together at their own pace with a dedicated instructor.

Can I request a specific instructor?

Yes, of course! You're welcome to request a specific instructor, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference - subject to their availability and existing bookings.

Where should I meet my instructor for my lessons?

For Verbier our standard meeting point is the Médran lift station, but we're flexible—if another location is more convenient for you, just let us know.

For Morzine we have dedicated meeting points at each of our resort locations to make sure your lesson starts smooth and hassle-free.

What age can my child start skiing?

Children can generally start skiing between 2 and 3 years old, depending on their confidence, coordination, and enthusiasm. Our instructors are experienced with young learners and will tailor the lesson to make sure it’s safe, fun, and age-appropriate.

Do you recommend any local rental shops for equipment?

Yes - we highly recommend Mountain Air in Verbier for top-quality equipment and expert service. They offer a wide range of skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets, and their team is great at helping you find the perfect fit.

What clothing should I wear for the lesson?

We recommend wearing waterproof ski pants and a jacket, thermal base layers, ski gloves or mittens, ski socks, and goggles or sunglasses. Dressing in layers is best so you can adjust for changing weather. Don’t forget sunscreen and lip balm—even on cloudy days!

Do I need a helmet?

Yes, helmets are compulsory for all lessons. Safety is our top priority, and we require all clients—adults and children alike—to wear a helmet on the slopes.

What safety precautions do you take?

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our instructors are fully qualified and trained in first aid and mountain safety, and all lessons are adapted to suit weather, snow conditions, and your ability level. Helmets are compulsory, and we promote safe skiing practices at all times. For off-piste lessons, we take extra precautions, including checking avalanche risk levels and ensuring appropriate safety equipment—such as transceivers, probes, and shovels—are carried and used correctly. Your instructor will always brief you on the plan and keep your safety the top priority.

Do your instructors have criminal record checks?

Yes, all of our instructors are required to have up-to-date criminal record checks and meet strict professional standards. Your safety and peace of mind is extremely important to us.

Will the lesson be postponed or refunded in case of bad weather?
