Growing up in Denmark, I always looked forward to the few precious weeks each year when I could escape to the Alps and go skiing. Those holidays quickly became the highlight of my year, so when the opportunity came to become a ski instructor, I jumped at the chance to turn something I loved into a career.
I've been teaching skiing since 2021, starting with two full winter seasons in Westendorf, Austria, where I mainly worked with children's groups. Teaching kids is something I absolutely love. Their enthusiasm is infectious, and there's nothing quite like watching them go from their first nervous turns to confidently exploring the mountain, usually with plenty of laughter and the occasional tears along the way!
Since moving to Verbier, I've had the opportunity to teach more private lessons with both children and adults. I've really enjoyed being able to focus on each individual skier, understanding their goals and finding the best way to help them progress. Whether we're making your first snowplough turns or exploring the finer details of ski technique, I love seeing that moment when a new skill finally clicks.
I've always been passionate about sport, and my background in football and football coaching has given me another perspective on how people learn, develop confidence and improve their skills. I enjoy bringing those experiences into my ski lessons to keep things engaging, supportive and fun.
For me, a great ski holiday is about much more than improving your skiing. I love exploring everything Verbier has to offer, discovering beautiful viewpoints, finding the perfect spot for a holiday photo and recommending somewhere great for lunch.
Above all, I want everyone I teach to feel comfortable, make progress and enjoy their time in the mountains. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced skier looking for your next challenge, I can't wait to share a great day on the slopes with you!
