“My skiing reached a level beyond which I struggled to progress. Oli was able to see the shortcomings of my technique and tutor me in correcting them. Throughout this his calm and encouraging style engendered confidence in myself. Oli was clearly committed to my improvement, he has made me a better skier and I will seek him out for lessons again.”

Whether you're building confidence, refining your technique or exploring new terrain, we'd love to help you make the most of your time on snow.
Hi, I'm Ollie! I'm a BASI Level 2 ski instructor with Pulse Snowsports in Verbier, and I've been skiing since I was about three years old.
Growing up, most of my skiing was on family holidays in the Swiss Alps, where I developed a love for the mountains that has stayed with me ever since.
My journey into ski instructing began with a three-month season in Courchevel, where I completed my BASI training and had the opportunity to shadow experienced instructors. Watching different coaches work with their clients gave me a great insight into how people learn and how important it is to adapt your teaching to each individual.
I then spent the summer teaching on an indoor ski slope, working with everyone from complete beginners taking their first steps on skis to more experienced skiers with racing backgrounds. That experience helped me develop my coaching skills and reinforced how much I enjoy helping people progress, whatever their starting point.
I particularly love teaching children and adult beginners. I'm naturally patient and believe that learning to ski should be enjoyable, relaxed and free from unnecessary pressure. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and my aim is to create an environment where you feel comfortable trying new things, making mistakes and building confidence along the way.
I also really enjoy the technical side of skiing. I like breaking down movements into simple, manageable steps that make sense, helping you understand what you're doing and why it works. Whether you're learning your first turns or looking to refine your technique, I want you to feel that you're making genuine progress.
This is my first full winter season teaching in Verbier, and I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and sharing some great days on the mountain.
When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me working on my carving technique on the pistes or heading off-piste to explore new terrain.
Above all, I want everyone I teach to finish their lesson feeling more confident, more capable and excited to get back out on their skis!
